Iraq says stability of Gulf states is part of Arab national security

Iraq's Foreign Ministry said the stability of the Gulf states is an inseparable part of Arab national security. It said Iraq views the security of the Gulf states as a continuation of its own national stability. The statement was issued on the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The ministry said Iraq will continue to strengthen its ties with Gulf states to promote regional stability and support joint development. It also stressed the importance of prioritizing dialogue to address issues affecting regional stability.
