Iraq's justice minister orders rotation of bailiff office staff nationwide

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Justice Minister Haydar al-Shawani has ordered the rotation of bailiff office personnel across all directorates nationwide, the ministry said in a statement. The directive extends a rotation procedure previously applied to bailiff offices in Baghdad to offices in other cities, according to the statement. Shawani said the decision aims to improve institutional performance and reinforce standards of transparency and integrity. The ministry said the rotation is intended to raise the quality of judicial services offered to citizens and renew working mechanisms. It added that the move targets efficiency, impartiality and accountability, and is meant to prevent potential negative effects from staff remaining in the same units for extended periods.
