Iraq's Health Ministry distributes medical milk and medicines to several provinces

BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Health Ministry has begun shipping medical milk to health directorates in Basra, Maysan, Baghdad (both Rusafa and Karkh) and Duhok through its affiliated General Company for Marketing Medicines and Medical Supplies. According to a ministry statement, the medical milk will be used in the treatment of children with rare hereditary diseases and those suffering from malnutrition.
The same company also delivered various medicines to the same health directorates, the ministry said. It added that the distribution was carried out according to the actual needs of the health facilities and is part of ongoing efforts to maintain a steady supply of medicines and medical materials.
The ministry said supply operations would continue without interruption to strengthen health services for citizens. It did not provide figures on the quantities dispatched or the timeline of the deliveries.
