BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani has issued a divani order covering a series of senior administrative appointments and transfers across the Ministry of Finance, the National Pension Authority and the Martyrs' Foundation.
Under the decree, Ali Karim Hussein was appointed deputy minister of finance, while National Pension Authority head Mahir Hussein Rashid was reassigned to an advisory role at the Martyrs' Foundation. The order also ended the finance ministry advisory post held by Ziad Shakir al-Attar and transferred Abdulhasan Jamal Abdullah from the Martyrs' Foundation to a consultancy position at the finance ministry.
The reshuffle redistributes senior personnel across the three state bodies, with the new assignments taking effect under the prime minister's directive. The order consolidates the leadership changes into a single administrative decision, allowing the relevant institutions to implement the transfers without separate approvals.
No further details on the rationale behind the personnel changes were immediately available.
