BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Iraq's Office of the Commander-in-Chief hosted a senior security and military delegation from Saudi Arabia in Baghdad on Thursday for talks on border security. The meeting was attended by Office of the Commander-in-Chief Secretary General Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir al-Shammari, the head of the National Intelligence Service and other security officials, according to a statement carried by the Security Media Cell. The talks followed previous discussions held in Riyadh and formed part of ongoing security coordination between the two countries, the statement said. Delegations focused on strengthening measures to monitor the shared border and expanding intelligence sharing.
