BASRA, Iraq — Iranian Consul General Ali Abdi stated that Iraqis provide support to the Islamic Republic of Iran across various sectors. He made the remarks while hosting a delegation of Iranian media officials and television representatives during a series of meetings in Basra. The delegation met with Iraqi journalists and media professionals to discuss potential cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two countries. Abdi emphasized the role of the media in conveying accurate information to the public. During the visit, Abdi invited representatives from the Iranian delegation and several Iraqi media organizations to travel to Iran.
