BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq’s Communications Minister Mustafa Sınd said free internet has been provided at five waterfront promenades in Baghdad and four other cities. He said the companies concerned responded to the ministry’s request in a statement released on Sunday evening.
The sites include Abu Nuwas in Baghdad and waterfront promenades in Najaf, Dhi Qar, Hilla and Diwaniya. The service will be provided by Earthlink, Super Cell, Fiber X and Balad Al-Shumukh, according to the statement.
