Iran leaves handwritten farewell note in Los Angeles dressing room after Belgium draw

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iran's national football team left a handwritten message in the dressing room at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles after drawing 0-0 with Belgium in their second Group G match of the 2026 World Cup. The note, published by the Iranian Football Federation, said the team had come to Los Angeles with pride, competed with honor and was leaving with dignity.
