Houthis strike Marib with more than 10 ballistic missiles

Marib, Yemen — Yemeni media outlets affiliated with the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) reported on Friday that more than 10 missiles struck the eastern city of Marib. According to the sources, some of the projectiles hit military bases on the outskirts of the city, while others landed near camps for displaced people in open areas. Casualty figures and the extent of material damage have not yet been confirmed, with sources saying clashes were still under way. Yemen's Defense Ministry said earlier on Friday that Ansar Allah had targeted Marib with ballistic missiles and drones. Local media also reported that several drones launched by the Houthis over the city had been intercepted. No official statement on the outcome of the operation had been issued by the time of reporting.
