Houthi Forces Claim Attacks on Saudi Military Sites

Yemen's Houthi-controlled armed forces announced on Thursday that they targeted Saudi military concentrations in the Ruveyk, Abir, and Seniye regions near the Saudi Arabian border using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The group stated the operation was launched after detecting preparations by Saudi Arabia to escalate actions against Yemeni cities and people. The Houthis claimed that hundreds of Saudi personnel were killed or wounded and that numerous bases, weapon depots, and military vehicles were destroyed. Separately, Reuters reported, citing government sources, that at least 30 Yemeni government forces were killed in Houthi attacks on camps in the cities of Ma Rib and Hadramut. These developments follow a maritime navigation ban declared by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia last week. In response, a Saudi-led coalition bombed targets attributed to the Houthis in the city of Hodeidah on Saturday.
