Explosion at Fireworks Factory in Mgarr, Malta

A powerful explosion occurred at the Ta’ Lourdes fireworks factory in the Mgarr region of Malta. The blast sent plumes of smoke into the air, with local residents reporting that the force of the explosion caused their homes to shake. Police initially reported no injuries and stated that no individuals were inside the facility at the time of the incident. Authorities later confirmed that two men, aged 67 and 47, were hospitalized with minor injuries caused by falling debris while working in nearby fields.
