Duhok University Holds Third Fine Arts Festival

Duhok University’s Faculty of Fine Arts held its third festival on 20 May 2026, bringing together student work in music, theatre and visual arts. The event highlighted the university’s growing role as a platform for young artists to present their work in an integrated setting. Students from the music department drew attention with a collective performance that delivered an impressive presentation despite technical difficulties. The theatre performance moved beyond conventional formats and showcased the students’ creative vision. The visual arts exhibition introduced audiences to original works by young talents, adding another dimension to the festival’s programme. It also offered one of the rare occasions on which the different artistic disciplines were presented together in a single event.
