Duhok Records 295 Incidents in Five Months, Losses Exceed 2.15 Billion Dinars

Duhok’s Civil Defense Directorate said 295 separate incidents have been recorded in the province since the start of the year, with material losses exceeding 2 billion 150 million Iraqi dinars. The figures underscore the scale of fire, flood and rescue emergencies handled in Duhok over the past five months.
The recorded cases included 156 fires and 19 incidents involving floods and inundation. The remaining 120 cases were traffic accidents and other rescue operations.
Five people were killed in the incidents, including four deaths in fires and one drowning at a dam.
The directorate called on citizens to follow general safety instructions and preventive measures.
