The U.S. dollar remained stable in Baghdad and Erbil at the start of the new week, with no change recorded in market trading on Saturday morning. The steady opening signaled a balanced currency picture in both cities after Thursday’s levels held firm.
In Baghdad, the Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges quoted 100 dollars at 153,600 Iraqi dinars, unchanged from Thursday. Local currency exchange offices in the capital kept the selling rate at 154,000 dinars and the buying rate at 153,000 dinars.
A similar pattern was seen in Erbil, where 100 dollars was priced at 153,500 Iraqi dinars for sale and 153,400 Iraqi dinars for purchase. Rates in both the capital and Erbil continued to show stability as the week began.
