Baghdad's Karkh Police Launch Park Security Campaign Before Eid al-Adha

Baghdad's Karkh district police command has launched a wide security campaign in parks and public spaces ahead of Eid al-Adha to prevent unauthorized alcohol consumption and maintain public order during the holiday period. The operation is aimed at creating clean and safe environments where families can spend time comfortably throughout the festivities. Security forces said they will take legal action against behavior that violates public morality and threatens social order. The police command stressed that parks are shared public spaces for everyone. The statement said any conduct that violates family privacy will be punished immediately.
