Attacks Continue on Kurdistan Region Border Area

The Kurdistan Region Security Agency said the Surdash camp, which hosts Iranian Kurdish opposition members, came under missile and drone attack in the past 24 hours, underscoring continuing tensions along the border. The camp in Sulaymaniyah province was struck by two missiles and three drones, but no casualties or material damage were reported. In the same area, centers belonging to the Kurdish Workers’ Association, known as Komala, were also hit by Iranian missiles on Thursday evening. The party said four missiles were fired at the centers around 10:00 p.m. Komala said its headquarters have been targeted more than 77 times by missiles and drones since the war began. The repeated attacks have heightened security concerns in the border region.
