Armed Tribal Clash in Maysan Leaves 3 Dead, 5 Wounded

An armed clash between two tribes in Iraq’s Maysan province left 3 people dead and 5 others wounded after violence erupted in the Seyyid Ahmed Rıza district, north of the provincial capital, over old disputes. Heavy and medium weapons were used in the fighting. Security forces surrounded the scene after the confrontation and transferred the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine unit. The wounded were taken to the nearest health center for treatment.
