US Intelligence Says Iran Is Rapidly Rebuilding Military Capacity

US intelligence assessments indicate that Iran has resumed drone production during the ceasefire period and is restoring its military-industrial infrastructure at a striking pace. The findings suggest Tehran is rebuilding key capabilities faster than expected after recent damage. Four sources said the Iranian military has been reconstituting previously damaged missile launchers and weapons production capacity far more quickly than anticipated. US assessments also indicate that Iran could fully restore its drone attack capability within just six months. The pace of the recovery is linked to support from Russia and China, along with the more limited-than-expected impact of US and Israeli strikes. That combination has allowed Iran to accelerate repairs across parts of its defense industry. The assessment also said a large number of coastal defense cruise missiles remained largely intact. That leaves a significant element of Iran’s missile arsenal in place even as other systems are being rebuilt.
