UEFA draws 2026-2027 Europa League league-phase groups in Monaco

MONACO — UEFA held the draw for the 2026-2027 Europa League league phase in Monaco on Tuesday, setting the opponents for clubs including Juventus and AC Milan. The league phase will begin on September 16, with the final round of league-phase matches scheduled for January 28, 2027. The knockout rounds are set to follow: knockout round playoffs on February 18 and 25, 2027; round of 16 on March 11 and 18; quarterfinals on April 8 and 15; and semifinals on April 29 and May 6, 2027. The final is scheduled for May 26, 2027. Following the draw, Bayer Leverkusen was paired with Marseille, Lyon, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb, Qyzyl-Jar (Cilli), Lech Poznan, Beşiktaş and OFI Crete. Juventus will face Real Sociedad, AZ, Rennes, Ferencváros, Omonia, Celta Vigo, NEC and Hapoel Be'er Sheva. AC Milan was drawn against Benfica, Olympiakos, Ferencváros, Salzburg, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Ararat-Armenia and Lillestrøm.
