Three injured in shootings in Diyala and Kirkuk

DIYALA, Iraq — A woman was found dead in her home in the Behrez subdistrict of Diyala, and two people were wounded in a separate armed attack in the Shivan subdistrict of Kirkuk, security sources said. The woman, born in 1999 and married, was found shot twice in the head at her home, according to a security source. Security forces detained her brother on suspicion, and the body was sent to forensic medicine. In Kirkuk, two people were injured in the shooting in Shivan and were taken to Kirkuk Hospital. Security forces have identified people said to be connected to the attack and have begun legal procedures, the source said.
