Teenager stabbed in Kirkuk as separate dog attacks leave two injured

KIRKUK, Iraq โ A 16-year-old was stabbed in the Shoravo area of Kirkuk on Saturday and taken to hospital, a medical source said. The attacker has not been identified.
In a separate incident in the Daraman area, a young man was injured in two parts of his body after being attacked by a dog, according to the same source. In the Vasiti neighborhood, a child was also attacked by a pack of dogs and was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
The three incidents occurred on the same day in different parts of the city. No further details on the conditions of the injured or the circumstances of the attacks were immediately available.
Kirkuk, a multiethnic province in northern Iraq, has periodically reported incidents of street violence and stray animal attacks.
