Syrian Man Arrested for Operating Illegal Dental Clinic in Anbar

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Anbar police announced the arrest of a Syrian national for operating an illegal dental clinic from his home without proper licensing. The suspect was detained following coordination between the Anbar Intelligence Directorate, the Anbar Health Department Inspection Unit and regional security forces, according to a police statement. Authorities said the operation was carried out based on intelligence information and judicial approval. Officers seized medical equipment and supplies used for dental procedures during the raid at the suspect's residence. The arrested individual, identified by initials N.C.H.K., was taken into custody under Article 260 of the Iraqi Penal Code. Legal proceedings against the suspect are underway and the investigation continues.
