BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Summer-like weather is expected to hold steady across central and southern Iraq on Saturday, June 6, according to the Iraqi Meteorological Department.
The department reported that high pressure will continue to dominate central and southern regions, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged from recent days.
In the north, localized cumulonimbus cloud development is forecast to bring intermittent rain throughout the day. Showers are expected to affect Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, and Kirkuk, as well as limited areas of Mosul and Duhok.
Moderate winds from the northwest are predicted to occasionally strengthen, potentially lifting light dust across desert zones and open roads. Most of the region, however, will see light or calm winds.
