BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's telecommunications minister announced that three additional beach promenade areas have been added to the country's free internet initiative.
According to the ministry, service in Nineveh Province at Al-Jasak Beach and Mussanna Park will be provided by NB TEL. The same initiative also brought free internet coverage to Samava Beach in Muthanna and Amara Beach in Maysan. At Samava Beach, services are handled by Hayat and Horizon companies, while Hayat company is responsible for Amara Beach.
Minister Mustafa Sa'id said the companies providing service responded to the voluntary initiative with the ministry. Last Sunday, the minister announced that free internet was already available at five beach promenade areas in Baghdad and four other cities. Those areas included Abu Nuwas in Baghdad, Kufa Beach in Najaf, Nasiriyah Beach in Ziqar, Hilla Beach in Babylon, and Diwaniyah Beach.
