Sulaymaniyah Prepares Tourism Services for Eid al-Adha Holiday

Sulaymaniyah's Tourism Directorate said it has completed all preparations to receive tourists and visitors from outside the city during the Eid al-Adha holiday, with measures in place to regulate arrivals and provide tourism services. Officials said the city expects a rise in visitor numbers before the holiday, especially as congestion has increased notably three or four days before Eid in recent years. The directorate said it has coordinated with checkpoint teams at city entrances and formed field teams to assist visitors. It also said tourism staff are ready to support arrivals throughout the holiday period. Coordination has also been maintained with hotels and restaurants to keep services available during the break. Guides have been assigned in tourist areas as part of the preparations. Officials urged visitors to help preserve the cleanliness of public and tourist areas. They said they expect large numbers of tourists to come to the city during the Eid holiday.
