NEW YORK — Elon Musk’s wealth could top $1 trillion ahead of SpaceX’s planned stock market debut, according to figures cited in New York. Forbes estimated Musk’s net worth at about $835 billion on Tuesday, up from $342 billion in its annual rich list in March 2025.
SpaceX is expected to go public around June 12, with the company’s valuation seen in the range of $1.7 trillion to $2 trillion. That would exceed a previous range capped at $1.5 trillion in March.
According to a filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Musk holds 12% of SpaceX’s common shares and about 94% of its non-class B shares. Calculations put his stake at roughly $735 billion to $840 billion if the company lists.
