The singer, who spent 12 years with Piqué, said she found herself having to keep moving forward despite feeling like her world had collapsed. Shakira said her children, Milan and Sasha, supported her through the most difficult periods. "When your world falls apart, you have no choice but to get back up, pay the bills, make breakfast and take the kids to school. Life goes on," she said. The artist described how becoming a mother changed her perspective entirely, calling her children the most valuable part of her life. She said she learns something new from them every day and emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from experience, noting that even painful experiences can strengthen a person.
