Russia says it struck military, energy infrastructure at three Ukrainian ports

Russia's Defense Ministry said it carried out strikes targeting military and energy infrastructure at three Ukrainian ports, according to a statement carried by Russian media. The ministry said a cargo ship and an oil tanker were hit at the port of Odesa, while a Ukrainian patrol boat was struck at the port of Ochakiv. At the port of Chornomorsk, fuel depots and military cargo storage facilities were targeted, the ministry said. It added that high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles were used in the operations. The ministry said the strikes were aimed at cutting military supply lines to Ukraine across the Black Sea. No confirmation from Ukrainian authorities was immediately available.
