MOSCOW — Russia said on Monday that its air defenses shot down 33 Ukrainian drones over its territory in a 12-hour period. The Russian Defense Ministry said the interceptions took place between 08.00 and 20.00.
According to the ministry, the drones were destroyed over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as over Crimea.
The ministry did not provide further details on damage or casualties.
