Russia says it shot down 123 Ukrainian drones in 12 hours

Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted 123 Ukrainian drones over a 12-hour period between 08:00 and 20:00 Moscow time. In a written statement, the ministry said the drones were brought down over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Kursk, Tula and Moscow oblasts, the Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea and the Black Sea waters. In a separate report earlier the same day, the ministry said Russian defenses had neutralized 11 guided bombs, seven Flamingo cruise missiles and 655 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours. The figures were based on data provided by the Russian Defense Ministry, according to the statement. No further details on damage or casualties were immediately available.
