Netanyahu Says War with Iran, Hezbollah 'Not Yet Over'

TEHRAN, Iran — JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that the conflict with Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah is "not yet over," adding that he held "good talks" with U.S. President Donald Trump. Netanyahu said Iran and Hezbollah are attempting to impose a new equation that Israel will not accept, describing both as "weaker than ever before." He warned that Israel would respond forcefully to any new Iranian attack. An Israeli official speaking to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority said the military would halt the ceasefire arrangement with Iran while continuing operations in southern Lebanon. A senior official told official Israeli Radio that if Hezbollah targets Israeli settlements, Israeli forces would continue striking targets across Lebanon. Iran's Hatem el-Enbiya Headquarters had previously announced that military operations against Israel had stopped, but warned that if attacks in southern Lebanon continued, Tehran's response would be "harsher."
