Mohamed Salah agrees to leave Liverpool, close to Al-Ittihad move

CAIRO — Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has agreed to leave Liverpool after nine seasons with the club, according to the Turkish-language report. The 33-year-old forward joined from Roma in 2017 and has enjoyed major success at Anfield since then. A Saudi media outlet said Salah's transfer to Al-Ittihad is very close. The report said he is expected to move to Saudi football in the new season. Salah has previously been linked with several other clubs, including Juventus, Fenerbahçe and San Diego.
