TEHRAN, Iran — TEHRAN — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was recorded in the Kuzaran area of Iran's western Kermanshah province at 23:08 local time, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring Center affiliated with the University of Tehran. The tremor occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers, with its epicenter located at 34.59 north latitude and 46.38 east longitude. The epicenter was situated approximately 23 kilometers from the town of Kuzaran, the monitoring center said. The earthquake occurred 26 kilometers from both Javanroud and Tazeabad, around 70 kilometers from the city of Kermanshah, and 98 kilometers from Sanandaj, the capital of neighboring Kurdistan province. The center reported that as of the time of preparation, no casualties or property damage had been reported from the earthquake.
