BAGHDAD, Iraq โ The Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Finance and Economy has delivered its June 2026 payroll and pension list for public employees to the Federal Ministry of Finance's Accounting Department, alongside a trial balance report for May.
In a written statement, the ministry said its technical team transferred the financial documents and supporting data to the federal counterpart as part of the routine administrative procedures governing fiscal files between the two sides. The handover covered both active personnel and retired employees on the regional payroll.
Regular exchanges of payroll lists and financial reports form part of the ongoing coordination between Erbil and Baghdad on salary and fiscal entitlement matters, according to the statement. The regional government has maintained the practice of submitting budget and personnel data to ensure the continuity of salary payments.
The simultaneous submission of the May trial balance alongside the June payroll list was intended to provide a complete set of financial statements, the ministry said. It added that the technical team delivered the documents in full to the relevant department and that the process proceeded as planned. No further details on next steps were immediately available.
