Israeli drone strike kills one in Gaza; raids continue in West Bank

An Israeli drone strike on western Gaza killed one person and wounded several civilians, Arab media reported on Friday. The attack targeted Intelligence Street in northwestern Gaza, while a separate drone struck the Karama area in northern Gaza City, according to the reports. Separately, the Israeli military conducted a raid in Khirbet al-Hummus, in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank. The army also announced that Israeli entry into "Area A" zones of the West Bank is "prohibited, dangerous and illegal," and said it had received reports of Israelis vandalizing a cemetery in the Nablus area. The developments come after Hamas and Palestinian factions announced they had reached agreement on a draft deal on disarmament in Gaza. The draft envisions limiting the weapons arsenal in exchange for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Palestinian territory. According to the draft seen by Shafaq News, a 14-day period would be given to prepare a disarmament timeline, which could be extended by decision of an international verification committee.
