Diyala Club announced it has closed its professional player file after signing Cameroonian defender Gaby Junior to a formal contract, completing its squad ahead of the new campaign. Police Club has made an official approach to Egypt's Al Ahly to take Egyptian forward Mohamed Sherif on loan, citing his experience and attacking capacity. Karmah Club has strengthened its forward line by signing Egyptian striker Merwan Hamdi from Pyramids, while Colombian forward Kevin Quejada has signed a formal contract with Al-Zawraa, adding a notable attacking option in pre-season. Saudi Arabia's Neom Club said it has signed Jordanian player Muhannad Abu Taha, who spent one season with the Air Force Club. Elsewhere, Yemen's Anis Al-Maari became a free agent after his contract with Naft Al-Wasat was terminated.
