Iraqi news portal Alsumaria ranks among top Arabic websites for 2025

BEIRUT, Lebanon — BEIRUT — Iraq-based news website Alsumaria was named among the leading Iraqi news sites in responses generated by ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude artificial intelligence chatbots when asked which Iraq-focused internet platforms perform best, according to a statement from the site. Founded more than 15 years ago, Alsumaria has worked since 2011 with Lebanese digital firm Softimpact on a series of redesigns of its news portal and mobile application. Its publishing infrastructure runs on Softimpact's TheWALL 360 digital publishing platform, which provides tools for content management, analytics, mobile delivery and over-the-top streaming services. In a 2025 ranking of the top 100 Arabic-language websites, Alsumaria was placed fourth. The site offers news distribution alongside digital publishing and online platform services. It said it plans to integrate new artificial intelligence-supported features into its editorial workflow using TheWALL AI infrastructure in the coming period.
