Iraqi meteorological agency forecasts slight temperature drop nationwide

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Meteorological Authority said temperatures across the country will fall by a few degrees on Wednesday, with clear skies expected nationwide. According to the authority's daily forecast, Tuesday will see clear weather except in the northern highlands, with temperatures rising slightly in central and northern regions and remaining close to previous levels in the south. On Wednesday, clear conditions will again prevail outside the northern highlands, with central and southern temperatures similar to the previous day and northern areas slightly warmer. Thursday is expected to remain clear, with a small rise in temperatures from Wednesday. The authority forecast nationwide highs of 34°C to 46°C on Wednesday, with Sulaymaniyah expected to record a low of 20°C.
