BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Supreme Hajj and Umrah Authority has urged citizens unable to receive online refunds of their Hajj registration fees to visit its offices in Baghdad and other cities. In a statement, the authority said applicants who missed the online refund window can apply in person beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, for a seven-day period.
The authority said those who apply will be able to complete the refund process and receive their payment in cash directly. It described the move as aimed at ensuring citizens receive their dues on time and at easing procedures for those who faced difficulties during the online stage.
The statement stressed that the process applies only to refunds of Hajj registration fees. Applicants were told to visit the relevant offices in person with the required documents.
