BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Ministry of Education said a circular circulating on social media regarding exams for third-year middle school and final-year high school students is fabricated. The ministry stated that the document, attributed to the ministry, was not issued by it and does not reflect official policy.
In its statement, the ministry emphasized that the circular was not published by the Education Ministry or the Permanent Examination Committee. It urged ministry staff, students and the public to rely only on verified official platforms belonging to the ministry and the minister for news and decisions.
The statement called on the public not to share documents and reports of unknown origin, and asked media outlets and news pages to verify information through official sources. It added that legal action will be taken against anyone found to be involved in circulating or promoting the forged documents.
