BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's General Directorate of Meteorology said temperatures are expected to rise across the country in the coming days, with rain forecast in parts of the north by Sunday. The agency said Thursday, Friday and Saturday will see clear skies, with temperatures climbing slightly nationwide before holding steady on Saturday.
On Sunday, partly cloudy weather is forecast in the northern and central regions, with a chance of thunderstorms in the north, while the south is expected to remain clear. Sunday's temperatures are projected to be similar to those of the previous day.
According to the directorate's data, Thursday's highest temperatures are forecast to range between 38 and 45 degrees Celsius across Iraqi cities.
