BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's state oil products distribution company released its sales figures for May 2026, reporting 1.061 billion liters of gasoline sold during the month. The company said diesel-type fuels totaled 1.168 billion liters, while fuel oil sales reached 1.697 billion liters in the same period.
The monthly breakdown also included 91 million liters of kerosene and more than 8 million liters of jet fuel, according to the company's statement issued on Monday. It described the figures as official domestic sales data reflecting fuel consumption inside the country.
The company, a subsidiary handling the distribution of refined petroleum products across Iraq, regularly publishes monthly sales volumes for gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, kerosene and aviation fuels. The data is used by the oil ministry and other government bodies to track domestic demand and plan imports and refinery output.
