Iraq's Reconstruction and Development Alliance mourns death of Iran's Khamenei

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Reconstruction and Development Alliance has issued a written statement offering condolences to the Islamic community and the Iraqi public over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The alliance described the loss as a major one for the community. In the statement, the alliance said Khamenei's legacy of thought and struggle, along with his values of sacrifice and determination, would endure in the memory of future generations. The alliance called on its supporters to attend funeral ceremonies organized in various provinces, perform condolence duties and help arrange related events. The alliance said such participation reflected loyalty to the late leader's standing.
