BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Meteorological Authority said temperatures across the country will range from 40 to 48 degrees Celsius over the weekend, with clear skies expected on Saturday nationwide except for partly cloudy conditions in the north. The agency added that dust will rise in the western region on Saturday, while temperatures will rise slightly across the country compared with the previous day.
On Sunday, the authority forecast clear weather nationwide, with dust expected in central and southern regions and a slight drop in temperatures from the day before. Monday is expected to bring clear skies as well, with dust in southern areas and a slight rise in temperatures relative to Sunday.
The authority said northern regions will see temperatures close to those of the previous day, while central and southern areas will be several degrees higher. It gave no further details on specific cities or provinces in the forecast.
