Iraq's Higher Education Ministry opens two application channels for 2024/2025 admissions

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education announced on Wednesday that it has opened two application channels for prospective students: one for amending candidate placement and another for graduates of the previous year. The ministry said both the placement amendment form and the previous-year graduates' acceptance form are now available across all disciplines for the 2024/2025 academic year. Applications will be accepted electronically through the "Kaddam" platform application or the ministry's Education, Planning and Follow-up portal until the close of business on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The ministry also shared download links for the Kaddam application. Students seeking to change their placement, along with those whose admission was deferred, canceled or unsuccessful, must apply to the university where they were accepted in order to activate their examination number, the ministry said.
