Iraq's education ministry says first-semester high school exam results due next week

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Ministry of Education said first-semester exam results for high school seniors for the 2025–2026 academic year will be released within the next week. Ministry spokesman Karim al-Sayyid told the Iraqi News Agency that grading and review of answer sheets is continuing at evaluation centers affiliated with the Permanent Committee for Examinations. Al-Sayyid said a specific date for the announcement has not yet been set but that the work is generally expected to be completed next week. He added that, as with third-year middle school exams, results will be made available through code numbers issued to students. The spokesman urged students and parents to follow announcements on the ministry's official platforms. According to the ministry, the final date and further details on the exam results will be communicated through its official channels.
