BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Justice Minister Khaled Shawani has ordered a comprehensive rotation of notaries working in all enforcement offices in Baghdad, the Ministry of Justice said. The directive was issued during a meeting with the leadership of the Enforcement Directorate, where officials reviewed efforts to improve performance, strengthen transparency and raise the quality of services provided to the public. According to the ministry, Shawani instructed that notaries across the capital's enforcement offices be reassigned as part of regulatory and preventive measures aimed at reinforcing integrity and improving service delivery. He also directed that office performance and case-completion rates be measured and evaluated on a regular basis. The minister further called for a full assessment of enforcement office buildings with inadequate physical infrastructure and for new premises to be constructed, in line with digital transformation goals and the rollout of automation systems. The ministry said the steps are intended to improve the working environment, speed up case processing and deliver more effective services to citizens.
