BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's General Authority for Meteorology and Earthquake Monitoring issued a thunderstorm advisory for the country's civil aviation airspace on Friday evening. The warning was prepared by the authority's Air Forecast Division Pilot Report and Briefing Section and covers an area marked in red on the agency's chart.
According to the authority, cloud formations and thunderstorms observed in the marked zone are expected to affect flight safety. The advisory is in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. local Baghdad time.
