Iraq Hajj Committee opens electronic form editing for 2027–2030 pilgrim lotteries

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Supreme Hajj and Umrah Committee has launched an electronic link allowing applicants to edit their hajj application forms and download their submission receipts, the committee said in a Wednesday statement. Under the service, applicants registered for the 2027 complementary lottery as well as the 2028, 2029 and 2030 lotteries can amend their forms through three separate options made available on the platform. The committee said access to the form-editing function, the electronic application form covering "family unification" requests, and the receipt download feature will remain open for 10 days starting Wednesday. Users can reach the services through the "Ur" government electronic services platform operated by the Prime Minister's Office. According to the committee, the new tool is part of efforts to streamline procedures for citizens in line with digital transformation goals and to allow applicants to correct errors made during the electronic hajj lottery registration process.
