Iranian delegation meets Karbala governor to convey Khamenei thanks

KARBALA, Iraq — An Iranian delegation traveled to Karbala on Wednesday evening and met with Governor Nafis Jasim al-Hattabi, according to a statement from the governor's office. The delegation was led by Mustafa Khamenei, the representative of Iran's Supreme Leader, and included Mohsen al-Kummi, the Supreme Leader's special representative, along with members of the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
